The Legacy Project is a charitable production company based in the Greater Toronto Area and was established in 2024.
Our mission is to bring together talented community members with a shared love of philanthropy and a passion for the arts.
The Legacy Project prioritizes fundraising for Canadian-Jewish organizations. The concept of Tikkun Olam, to repair the world, is a pillar of Judaism and an important part of Jewish culture.
In 2025, we put on our inaugural show, Vol. 1 and we put on our second show, Vol. 2 in 2026! We've raised almost $130,000 for Reena!
Our first two shows, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, were in support of the remarkable Reena Foundation. Reena Foundation raises funds to improve the lives of people with Autism and other developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and other diverse health needs. As the fundraising arm of Reena, we support transformational housing projects and vital programs including Day, Respite and Employment.
Your support has helped improve the lives of individuals supported by Reena by funding important initiatives. From Vol. 1, we donated almost $65,000 to the Reena Foundation, which means that 60 Reena residents participated in summer camp in 2025!

Sponsors are essential to helping raise funds for great causes, such as the Canadian Legacy Project! We have a variety of sponsorship packages available that support various legacy projects in Toronto. To inquire about sponsorship opportunities, please send us an email.
Sponsors are prominently featured on our social media, in our program, on signage, and most importantly, in our unique sponsorship song that highlights the spirit of the Toronto legacy!
The Legacy Project was founded in 2024 by Michelle Sadowski and Darren Rabie. After connecting over a love of philanthropy and the arts (and each other), Darren and Michelle decided to produce a show of their own.
The Legacy Project is a charitable production company based in the Greater Toronto Area. We produce different types of shows, all with a goal of fundraising for charity.
The word legacy means, "the long-lasting impact of particular events, actions, etc. that took place in the past, or of a person’s life".
Darren and Michelle are proudly Jewish. The concept of Tikkun Olam, to repair the world, is a pillar of Judaism and an important part of Jewish culture. We are passionate philanthropists and volunteers at heart.
After careful reflection about what we want our own legacy to be, we realized that we want to provide a space where talented, like-minded community members can connect over a love of the arts, and a desire to give back.
As Darren and Michelle are both proudly Jewish, The Legacy Project will be prioritizing fundraising for Jewish organizations. The concept of Tikkun Olam, to repair the world, is a pillar of Judaism and an important part of Jewish culture. Jewish charities often support people of all religions, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Our Vol. 1 and 2 shows are in support of the Reena Foundation! For more information on the Reena Foundation, please visit reenafoundation.org
